Air Fryer Honey Garlic Chicken Wings – Crispy, Sweet & Savory

If you’re looking for the ultimate crowd-pleaser, these Air Fryer Honey Garlic Chicken Wings will steal the show. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and coated in a sticky-sweet honey garlic sauce – they’re a perfect balance of flavors without the guilt of deep frying.

I’ve recently shared my recipe for Crispy Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Fries, and these wings pair beautifully with them for a complete game-night feast.

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp salt

For the sauce:

  • ¼ cup honey

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp ketchup

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)

Instructions:

  1. Prep the wings: Pat the wings dry with a paper towel. Toss them in olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  2. Air fry: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Arrange wings in a single layer and cook for 18–22 minutes, flipping halfway until golden brown and crispy.

  3. Make the sauce: In a saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, ketchup, and garlic. Simmer for 3–4 minutes. If you want it thicker, stir in the cornstarch slurry.

  4. Coat the wings: Toss the hot wings in the sticky honey garlic sauce until fully coated.

  5. Serve & enjoy: Garnish with sesame seeds or green onions and serve immediately.
